Mouse genome - data download

The Sanger Institute made a major contribution to the reference genome sequence of the mouse: this sequence is undergoing the same improvement as the human genome. Importantly, the Institute is currently sequencing the genomes of 17 of the most-used strains of mouse in contemporary biology.

EnsemblAccess to the reference mouse genome sequence, other mouse genome sequences and to individual mouse chromosomes

Genome Reference Consortium (GRC)

Genome Reference Consortium (GRC)Aims to ensure that the human, mouse and zebrafish reference assemblies are biologically relevant by closing gaps, fixing errors and representing complex variation
