Staphylococcus lugdunensis

Staphylococcus lugdunensis is a commensal of man and can cause serious invasive infections. This Gram-positive bacterium accounts for 5-10% of cases of invasive endocarditis

Data Downloads

This project is ongoing and data for this organism will be made available in due course.

We are sequencing the genome of a Staphylococcus lugdenensis strain N920143, a breast abscess isolate, in collaboration with Tim Foster, Trinity College, Ireland.

Data Use Statement

This sequencing centre plans on publishing the completed and annotated sequences in a peer-reviewed journal as soon as possible. Permission of the principal investigator should be obtained before publishing analyses of the sequence/open reading frames/genes on a chromosome or genome scale. See our data sharing policy.
