Tree of Sex Initiative
The diversity of reproductive strategies in nature is astonishing. Where does it come from? How comes there are so many ways to reproduce, and all of them are successful strategies? What are the evolutionary origins and consequences of various forms of sexual and asexual reproduction?
We are a consortium of researchers tackling these and many more questions by gathering reproductive data for all Eukaryotic species across the tree of life in the Tree of Sex database.
