Dr Qianqian Zhang

Postdoctoral Fellow

I study brain tumors called glioblastomas, focusing on how different cells in the tumor environment communicate with each other. Using advanced mapping tools, I explore how these interactions suppress the immune system, with the aim of finding new ways to improve treatments.

Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on applying single-cell and spatial multi-omics technologies—particularly spatial transcriptomics—to investigate the initiation and progression of central nervous system (CNS) tumors. Her work emphasizes understanding tumor microenvironments and the interactions between different cell types within tumors.
