Zoi is an Advanced Research Assistant in the Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) - Space Team and the High Throughput Spatial Genomics Team within the Bayraktar research group. She is applying histology and spatial genomics technologies in cutting edge research projects on cancer and neuroscience.

Zoi’s main interests lie in the transcriptional and spatial diversity of cells in conditions affecting the Central Nervous System.

In the Bayraktar research group: a) Zoi coordinates with multiple internal and external collaborators for the generation and organisation of important biological data and b) She implements state-of-the-art spatial technologies such as in situ sequencing, Visium and high throughput microscopy.

As part of the Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) – Space Team and the High Throughput Spatial Genomics Team, Zoi has supported projects in glioblastoma, spinal cord injury and breast cancer.
