COVID-19 Genomics Initiative: Monitoring the emergence and prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 variants in the UK population to aid in the public health response. Respiratory Virus and Microbe Initiative: Large scale surveillance of multiple common respiratory viruses to track their transmission and evolution, understand their interactions with other microbes and identify new viral threats.
