Kwasi is an Imaging Scientist in the group, managing microscopy hardware and helpingto develop software for image analysis of spatial transcriptomics data

As part of the Spatial transcriptomics group, my role is to manage the imaging instruments the group uses, and to assist with the creating of image analysis software for quantifying the microscope images.

My prior experience, across a PhD at King’s College London and postdoctoral research positions with the Photonics group at Imperial College and the London Centre for Nanotechnology at UCL, has been in the design and construction of fluorescence microscopes, single molecule fluorescence imaging and computational image analysis.
