Lu’s research interest is protein and peptide analysis using multi-dimensional HPLC and nanoLC-MS/MS methods, including protein identification and characterisation, protein post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation, palmitoylation and ubiquitination, and protein quantification. In addition, she also supports bioinformatics development in the team for efficient data mining and result generation. Due to the various collaborations both internally and externally, she also gives training to students, post-doctors and visiting scientists about MS sample preparation and data processing skills.
