Provide bioinformatics and computing support to researchers in the Parasites and Microbes programme. Develop software pipelines for automated analysis of genomic datasets to fight disease around the world.

About

I’ve always enjoyed learning about biological systems and especially the mechanisms of pathogenensis. Combining this with a passion for computing and statistical methods has led me into the field of bioinformatics. It is particularly rewarding to work closely with the scientists to process and analyse their data and build computational infrastructure to help combat a slew of diseases that afflict human health.
