I graduated with a BSc in Genetics from the University of Leicester. During my undergraduate studies I completed an industrial placement year in the genomics team of the Target and Pathway Validation unit. This role focused on the validation of proprietary cell culture systems against corresponding tissue for the purpose of studying epithelial development by utilising scRNA-seq approaches.
