This person is a member of Sanger Institute Alumni.

Eduardo is a Full-Stack Software Developer responsible for building and maintaining Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) to support laboratory processes in the Sequencing labs.

My main work is to design and support changes to the tools used in the institute to support working in the labs in the stages previous to starting sequencing samples.

The main applications I have participated are:

• Sequencescape: main LIMS application we support in PSD for the Sequencing labs in the institute
• Lighthouse tools: group of applications designed specifically for the Heron project as part of the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium to support Covid-19 sequencing.
• Samples Extraction: small generic LIMS solution that provides a very configurable workflow definition for creating small pipelines

My timeline

• Started as Senior Software Developer at Wellcome Sanger Institute 

• Worked as User Interfaces Developer at Rumbo.es

• Started as a Research Assistant at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid

• Started working as UNIX Systems Administrator at Satec S.A.
