Marilou is a postdoctoral fellow analysing genomic sequencing data of Anopheles mosquitoes

Marilou is interested in monitoring Anopheles populations using genomic sequencing data. She is involved in two large-scale monitoring projects: ANOSPP and the Anopheles funestus population genomics project. She applies existing and develops new computational methods to analyse the data in a meaningful way.

Marilou completed her PhD in early 2023, under the supervision of Mara Lawniczak and Richard Durbin.
