Staff Scientist with the Respiratory virus and Microbiome Initiative.
Katie works in and out of the lab to use human respiratory samples to investigate how bacteria, viruses and humans co-exist with and without disease using experiments and bioinformatic analyses. She has previously worked specifically on Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae.
