After completing my PhD work in the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University, I've joined the Gaffney's group as a postdoctoral fellow. My main focus is to gain deeper understanding of the fundamental gene regulatory processes and the downstream signalling pathways regulating proinflammatory and tolerogenic profiles in human macrophages and dendritic cells. Because diversity and plasticity are outstanding hallmarks of immune cells, I'm exploring single-cell RNA-sequencing techniques to monitor cellular heterogeneity and population dynamics after cell stimulation.
