Lu, Zhigang

I am exploring multi-omics data (genomics/transcriptomics/proteomics/epigenomics; on organism/organ/single-cell levels) of the parasite Schistosoma mansoni in order to understand its biology. I also do the genome annotation and curation in both systematic and manual manners, as well as knowledge integration for the research community. 

For my work I apply various bioinformatics and machine learning techniques, and I am improving myself in data mining, modelling, and visualisation. I built a web portal for checking the expression profiles of S. mansoni genes (schisto.xyz).
