I am a computational biologist working on single-cell genome sequencing, somatic mosaicism, and the ageing human germline.

My research focuses on characterising somatic mutations, which are those that accumulate in our cells over a lifetime and give rise to genetically distinct clones. I am investigating the cellular processes that generate these mutations and the selection pressures that determine which clones expand, with the goal of better understanding tissue ageing, disease risk, and the variation transmitted to the next generation.
