I have always been interested in science, and I believe that science should benefit everyone, which drew me to the Wellcome Sanger Institute, where every day researchers are pushing the boundaries in genomics to improve human health and understand life on Earth.
Additionally, I believe that clear, engaging communication can drive impact and change lives.
Every day, I work with my colleagues throughout the Institute and our collaborators worldwide to identify stories, crafting narratives and strategies to successfully raise awareness of the Institute’s work, and the people behind this, to a broad range of audiences. This includes working with media outlets and journalists across the world, and harnessing digital and social media channels, to deliver integrated communication campaigns.
