Biography
I am a Master’s student studying Human Genetics at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. This M.Phil. degree program is run through the University of Cambridge. I am analyzing the genetic architecture of gene and protein expression in a cohort of sepsis patients with the goal of colocalizing molecular QTL to identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
My main interest is to use statistical and machine learning approaches to better understand complex traits in a human disease context. Broadly, I hope to use these results to identify elements of biological pathways that may be amenable to therapeutic intervention.
