The Scientific Operations, Spatial Team performs laboratory processing of samples for spatial analysis to support research projects within the institute. Combining histology and molecular biology skills, we generate spatially resolved gene expression analysis. I most frequently work on Visium HD requests, preparing spatial transcriptome libraries ready for sequencing, and our end-to-end Xenium workflows.

Implementing and optimising emerging laboratory methods has always been a key component in my work projects. My primary expertise is in high-throughput sequencing; both long-read and short-read DNA sequencing, RNA sequencing and Spatial Genomics.
