I manage the research portfolio for several Faculty within the Cellular Genetics Programme, and lead on process improvement projects within the team

As a Senior Research Manager in the Cellular Genetics Programme, I utilise my scientific background to support faculty in managing their research portfolios, including pre- and post-award grant management, contracts and ethics. I have the responsibility for horizon scanning and leading our process improvements and standardisation, seeking to create efficient and streamlined processes for the team.

I currently line manage a Project Manager as well as the Graduate Programme trainees within our team, helping to develop and guide them through their six month rotation within CellGen.

Outside of my role, I’m a trained Mental Health First Aider with specialised training in suicide intervention through ASIST, as well as co-chair of the Employee Partnership.
