Frederik Gibson

Advanced Research Assistant

After completing a Biomedical Sciences degree and PhD investigating telomere biology, I am now working in cancer reseach and organoid model development.

I am a cell biologist looking forward to beginning the next phase of my career in science at the Sanger Institute, where I will be deriving organoids and supporting research identifying and characterising genetic vulnerabilities of various cancers. Previously I undertook a PhD at the University of Leicester investigating novel regulators of telomere length in human cells, and completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Cardiff University.
