Dr Arianna Fozzato

Technical Specialist

Neuroscientist leveraging single cell and spatial omics techniques to understand neuroimmunity mechanism in neurodegenerative disorders.

I am a trained neuroscientist with experience wet lab and clinical neurophysiology.

Throughout my career I have utilised AV and AAV vectors to modulate protein and gene expression in vivo within the CNS for both basic science and translational purposes.

Driven by an interest in learning more about genomics techniques to explore the brain, I have secured fundings via UCL FTMA scheme to carry out a bioinformatics project at the University of Cambridge and explore alternate splicing in the context of AD.

Joining the Sanger in my role as a Technical Specialist in Neurodegeneration was the perfect opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills, as well as gaining incredibly valuable experience in genomics, I can apply to a field I am deeply passionate about.
