This person is a member of Sanger Institute Alumni.
After five wonderful years during my PhD, the time has come for me to leave the Wellcome Sanger Institute. From August 4, 2025, I will commence as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, within the University of Oxford.
Identification of the effective combinatorial therapies
Cansu was a PhD student at the Translational Cancer Genomics Group led by Dr Mathew Garnett. She generated a harmonised dataset of drug combinations across cancer cell lines, aiming to infer effective cancer combination therapies using network-based multi-omics data integration. In addition to the PhD Thesis, she created BEstimate with Dr Mathew Garnett, Dr Matthew Coelho and Bo Fussling.
