Dr Matthew Coelho

Cancer Research UK Career Development Fellow 

Matt is a Cancer Research UK Career Development Fellow using functional genomics strategies to understand DNA variant function in cancer progression and therapy response.

Matt gained expertise in functional genomics in the laboratory of Dr. Mathew Garnett at the Sanger, cancer immunotherapy and lung cancer in the laboratory of Prof. Julian Downward at the Francis Crick Institute, and CRISPR technologies at AstraZeneca.
