Briony Clarke

Head of Change Management

My career has run across multiple industries. At the heart of my roles has been a focus on people-centric change: making sure the views of the people the change most impacts are front and centre of decision making.

As Head of Change Management, my role is to support the Institute to create an organisation and culture able to effectively flex and grow with the changing needs of science, our strategy and the world around us.

Change management ensures that employees understand the purpose and benefits of the change, and it provides them with the necessary tools, resources, and support to adapt and thrive in the new environment. It also helps leaders anticipate and address potential challenges, mitigating risks and ensuring a successful transition. Ultimately, change management promotes organisational agility, innovation, and competitiveness by enabling the organisation to embrace and adapt to change effectively.
