As Associate Director of the Portfolio Delivery Office (PDO), I lead Sanger’s approach to portfolio, project and change delivery. My role is to help turn strategic priorities into well-planned, achievable change and ensure that investment and effort are focused where they can deliver the greatest value.
I lead a multidisciplinary team spanning portfolio management, project delivery, business analysis and change, working with scientific and operational leaders across the Institute. We provide the insight, expertise and practical support needed to understand priorities, manage dependencies and risks, and deliver sustainable outcomes.
A key part of my role is providing senior leaders with a clear view of Sanger’s change landscape, helping them make informed decisions about priorities, sequencing, resources and trade-offs. I also lead the development of Sanger’s delivery capability, creating proportionate approaches and professional standards that support people to deliver effectively without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
