The focus of my research is the ecology and evolution of disease vectors, largely using genomic technology and computational biology to understand how variation is distributed across space and time.

I am an evolutionary biologist interested in disease vectors. My research first focused on the population structure and demography of African Aedes mosquitoes as well as their invasive expansion. More recently, my interest has been understanding the ecology and adaptation of disease vectors across environmental landscapes and in response to biological competitors. Since joining the vector team, I have been working to accelerate the genomic surveillance of Anopheles mosquitoes for disease control.
