I am part of the HAVANA group and work on the manual annotation of human, mouse and zebrafish genomes.

I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2006, with a BSc. in Biomedical Science. I joined the Finishing Team at Sanger improving the assembly of Zebrafish clones in 2007. I also helped with smaller projects, such as Pig and Medicago. I joined the HAVANA group in 2009. I work on the human and mouse GENCODE gene sets. I assisted in annotating the MHC region in mouse on Chromosome 17. Currently I work on zebrafish genome annotation.
