I've been working at the Sanger Institute since 2008 as part of the vertebrate genome annotation and analysis team. I was involved in the production of the human GENCODE gene set as part of the ENCODE project and was also a member of the team who annotated the pig sex chromosomes. I am currently working on integrating a variety of next-gen data into the human gene set.
