I am a genomicist interested in understanding the role of the genetic alterations that cells acquire throughout cancer development.

My project focuses on the identification of genes involved in the metastatic process in melanoma. I analyse whole genome and transcriptome sequencing data to identify candidate genes followed by functional experimental validation using the CRISPR-Cas9 system and in-vivo mouse models.
