Finance and Procurement support all three GRL delivery themes by working creatively, collaboratively and transparently with staff and entities on the Genome Campus to ensure we provide world-leading support and services in the most cost effective way.


We provide financial and procurement expertise which enables informed decision making. We do this through:

  • challenging and constructive business support;
  • provision of insightful information and analysis;
  • quality risk management advice and processes;
  • timely, efficient and well controlled transaction execution.

Procurement work collaboratively with Faculty; Non-Science based staff, Research Facilities across the campus, and approved suppliers to oversee the Institute’s procure-to-pay process. We utilize cutting edge e-Business technologies, innovative supply chain strategies, contracting and cost containment programs, utilizing local and national collaborative purchasing relationships to leverage the Institute’s buying power.
