Nicole Soranzo named among Italy’s Top 38 Women Scientists in biomedicine
Professor Soranzo studies how the human genome influences the risk of common diseases, in particular with an emphasis on cardiometabolic disorders. Her research team, based at the Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, employs cutting-edge genomic analysis with deep clinical phenotyping to unpick the genetic and epigenetic causes of many common human diseases.
