My role as Head of HR Business Partnering involves managing a team of HR Business Partners and the Head of Pay and Reward to ensure that we provide first-rate HR guidance and advice to our Leaders and Managers. It is imperative that we work collaboratively with leadership to ensure that all strategic planning gives effective consideration to the impact on people, supporting large change management projects as well as other Institute-wide initiatives.
I have worked in HR for 12 years and am passionate about HR being a collaborative and enabling partner to the organisation.
Working with our Scientists is incredibly rewarding, and it is key that our support functions provide exemplorary services to help them focus on their research, and recruit, retain and develop the best people to deliver world-class science. I believe that communication is an essential part of what we do, and I take a ‘solutions-focused’ approach to HR.
