Steve's biography
Steve studied for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne, Australia, before completing a Ph.D. in 2008 under the supervision of Ben Kile and Warren Alexander at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. In 2012, Steve joined the laboratory of Tony Green at the University of Cambridge where he investigated the role of chromatin remodelling during HSC fate determination. He is currently exploring how novel substrates of JAK2 signalling impact normal and neoplastic haematopoiesis, and the dynamic regulation of retrotransposons in somatic cells, under the supervision of Jyoti Nangalia at the Sanger Institute.
