Business Analyst and Process Improvement Lead
I am currently the interim Research and Project Management Team Lead in the Human Genetics and Generative and Synthetic Genomics Programmes. I provide line management and technical support to the team whilst leading on process improvement projects.
Prior to stepping into this role, I was a Business Analyst and Process Improvement Lead. In this role, I utilised my scientific background and analysis skills to look for opportunities to enhance Operational delivery. I had the responsibility for horizon scanning and leading process improvements and standardisation, seeking to create efficient and streamlined processes for the team. I was responsible for determining and working closely with relevant stakeholders, internal or external, to understand complex internal business processes, requirements and gaps. I understood and articulate business change needs, assessed the impact of those changes, captured, analysed and documented requirements and supported the communication and delivery of those requirements.
Outside of my role, I’m a trained Mental Health First Aider with specialised training in suicide intervention through ASIST, and served as co-chair of the Employee Partnership from 2022-2025.
