Chloe Newman

HR Services Partner

Alumni

This person is a member of Sanger Institute Alumni.

My role is to ensure people related policies, processes and systems are aligned effectively with the Institute’s people strategy, with changes anticipated and accommodated to ensure that a seamless and excellent level of customer service is provided.

I lead the provision of HR administrative and transactional support to the Institute: this includes the responsibility for developing, coordinating and strategically aligning the day- to-day operational management of HR Services. These services include payroll and benefits administration, general and first line advice on HR Policies, the use and management of HR systems (Agresso), contractual changes, administration of non-employee groups (visiting Workers) and people related management information. My focus is on delivering administration efficiencies, MI data and the promotion of lean working practices driving the development of value added HR administrative support.

HR is committed to developing and reviewing the services it provides, striving to give the best customer experience. The Institute is a dynamic environment that requires adjustability, imaginative thinking and innovative solutions and HR is driven to support this by seeking out innovative and best fit solutions to enhance our HR activities; ensuring that processes are effectively implemented and supported by the most appropriate system(s) optimising the experience for our internal and external stakeholders.

Our drive to develop and improve procedures and processes supported by a fit for purpose system(s) will assist in the improvement and creation of meaningful information on the employee lifecycle, which will in turn input into the overall Institute vision and the associated strategic pathways by aiding insightful and timely decision making.

To work at an Institute that makes a real difference in the future of human health means that my role plays a part in contributing to something remarkable.
