I study chromosome evolution in nematodes by generating new chromosome level assemblies

Nematodes have small genomes and are highly diverse. In collaboration with Manuela Kieninger, Alan Tracey, Robin Moll and Lewis Stevens, I assemble and analyze chromosome level assemblies to understand what modulates the speed and location of intrachromosomal rearrangements.
