I joined the Wellcome Sanger Institute October 2023 to pursue my MPhil in Biological Sciences. With the Martin Group, I will be studying rare and common genetic influences on cognitive and psychiatric traits in the Millennium Cohort Study.
Prior to Sanger, I completed my B.S. in Computer Science at Mississippi State University. There I studied transcription fidelity of human cells with Jean-Francois Gout’s group. I have also held positions at the University of California, Los Angeles and The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine where I researched population genetics and cancer epigenetics.
