Samantha Walker

Research Assistant for the Garnett Group Screening Team. Samantha focusses on the culture and maintenance of established cell lines and newly derived 3D cancer organoids for CRISPR and drug sensitivity screens. 

I graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Surrey. While studying for my undergraduate degree, I completed an industrial placement year with the Epigenetics Discovery Performance Unit at GlaxoSmithKline. For this role, I investigated the effects of epigenetic immunomodulatory compounds on CD4+ T-cell differentiation.
