I have an interest in studying effect of genetic mutations and epigenetic regulations on protein functions with quantitative approaches.

During my PhD training, my focus was on histone modifications and small RNA biogenesis. Presently, I am using deep mutational scanning (DMS) combined with machine learning to investigate the allosteric landscapes of enzymes.

My long-term goal is to develop predictive models using machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), based on the large-scale DMS data we aim to generate. This pursuit is to contribute to enzyme design and engineering in the future.
