Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) measurement for Dusp3tm1b(KOMP)WtsiMouse GP
Results Summary
ABR thresholds normal
Click-ABR waveforms normal
Methods Summary
Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABRs) are recorded via subcutaneous needle electrodes placed at the vertex and behind the left ear, as an average of 256 responses to presentation of freefield stimuli [clicks (10us) or tone pips (5ms tone pips, 1ms rise/fall time)], presented at 42.2/sec.
ABR Thresholds are determined and plotted as a function of stimulus. Mean threshold is plotted (+/- population standard deviation). The green shaded area indicates the median threshold (and 2.5% to 97.5% reference range) of a large population of wildtype mice of this genetic background.
Click-Evoked ABRs waveforms were analysed. Superimposed waveforms recorded at 20dB and 50dB sensation level were plotted. Amplitudes and Latencies for waves P1, N1, P3 and N3 were recorded and were plotted as a function of dB sensation level. Means are plotted (over a 95% reference range for each parameter).
