Please note:

• Within each ftp directory, there will usually be several files. These are generated periodically, so make sure that you obtain the latest version. The file name contains the date:
  T.congolense_reads_18Jun03.gz
  is a gzip compressed file, made 18-06-03 (18th June 2003) of whole genome shotgun sequence reads for example.
• It is easiest to use your Netscape browser to access these data. You can download data by clicking on the relevant file whilst holding down the Shift-key or follow the relevant link, allow the browser to complete loading the file and then save (Alt-S in Netscape).

IMPORTANT: This sequence is unfinished and does not necessarily represent the correct sequence. Work on the sequence is in progress and the release of these data is based on the understanding that the sequence may change as work continues. The sequence may be still be contaminated with foreign sequence (e.g. other chromosomes, E.coli, yeast, vector, phage etc.).
