ZF-Models Workshop 2007
ZF-MODELS - http://zf-models.org/
On behalf of Jane Rogers and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, we would like to invite you to attend this year's ZF-Models workshop. It will take place from the 23rd until the 29th of April 2007 at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge. This workshop is aimed at researchers at all levels and will focus on the use of web resources that have been developed in conjunction with the Zebrafish Genome Sequencing Project. We shall include lectures on a variety of topics, e.g. mapping the zebrafish genome, sequencing techniques and sequence analyses, as well as hands-on exercises to explore bioinformatics resources via the web and via self-written perl scripts. The preliminary agenda is added below.
Please indicate your intention to attend and accommodation requirements to either Kerstin Howe or Sancha Martin by 23rd of March 2007. Since we would like to provide the appropriate level of teaching, it would be great if you could also indicate whether (and to what level) the attendees are familiar with Perl scripting. Please cascade this message and the poster as appropriate.
We hope that you will be interested in the offered topics and look forward to welcome everyone.
Best wishes
Kerstin Howe and Derek Stemple
