Zebrafish (Danio rerio) Sequencing Project

The Sanger Insitute started the zebrafish genome sequencing project in 2001 and has released several genome assemblies, the latest being Zv9.

The genome project has now reached maintenance stage and the genome sequence was handed over to the Genome Reference Consortium (GRC) for further improvement and ongoing maintenance.

You can view the regions under GRC review in Ensembl by attaching the 'GRC regions Zv9' DAS source. Simply click here.
