A new release of the database is assembled every fortnight by the Sanger worm informatics group. Each new release typically contains many new pieces of data and also contains many updates and refinements of existing data, e.g. improvements to gene predictions. As well as being available at www.wormbase.org, each database release is available to download from our ftp site.
