Matthew is part of the team responsible for the infrastructure that maintains over 150 websites hosted by the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

Matthew has a background in transplantation research.  He developed tools for displaying DNA & protein sequence alignments.  He joined the Wellcome Sanger Institute in 2008 and has supported various research groups, including Variation Informatics (Genotyping) and the Wellcome Trust Case Control Consortium.  He has supported the Merops website and helped roll out new features. He is part of a team responsible for the infrastructure that maintains over 150 websites hosted by the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
