Elena Lukyanova | Postdoctoral Fellow

Lukianova, Elena

I am a postdoctoral fellow working with Gosia Trynka at the immune genomics group. I am interested in studying how immune function varies across individuals with primary immunodeficiencies using single cell transcriptomics.

My academic background is in bioinformatics and bioengineering. I obtained my MSc and BSc in Bioinformatics and Bioengineering from Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia.

I did my PhD in molecular biology at Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology / Russian Academy of Sciences.  My PhD project focused on studying molecular genetics disfunctions in patients with carotid paragangliomas.

Apart from science I love to play volleyball, go climbing and dance ballet
