Sports & Social Club

The Wellcome Trust Genome Campus - Sports & Social Club has a sports hall next to the Pebbles Café which can be used by any registered member of the club. The club arranges regular classes in the hall, including Aerobics, Yoga, Pilates, Jazzercise, Aikido, Taekwondo and Circuits, so there are plenty of opportunities to keep fit or try a new activity. There is a separate gym with fitness equipment to help you continue your fitness routine, and both an indoor court and outdoor pitches which can be used by teams to play football, volley ball, badminton or other sports.

Social events put on by the Institute

The Sanger Institute has a tradition of holding a 'drinks and nibbles' event at the end of the working day on the final Friday of each month to give everyone a well-earned opportunity to relax and chat together.
