Sally Bygraves

Research Manager

I am responsible for providing operational and management support to our Executive Leadership Team to allow for the delivery of our project portfolio. 

I trained in accountancy, before returning to University to study law, and then corporate governance as a post graduate. I have worked across all sectors of business, including local government and the charity sector.

I started working in research at the University of Nottingham, where I was an Operations Manager, before moving to the Sanger Institute as a Research Administrator in the Human Genetics programme. In my current role as Research Manager for Open Targets I provide project support across multiple disciplines to ensure the delivery of the programme objectives and strategically important projects
