This page gives access to comparison data between M. leprae and M. tuberculosis. The data is designed to be visualised in ACT, the Artemis Comparison Tool. This tool requires the two genomes in Artemis format, along with a comparison file. The comparison file was generated by a complete geneome vs. genome TBLASTX comparison, and hence represents CDS-independant protein-protein similarities between the two genomes. Please note that the TB file presented here differs slightly from that available on the M. tuberculosis page. We are in the process of updating these files and we will release new versions soon.
