Data concerning genetic map information and worm gene nomenclature will be checked by Professor Jonathan Hodgkin of Oxford University and by Mary Ann Tuli of the Sanger Institute WormBase group prior to inclusion in WormBase. Data submitted at any time is collected, checked and converted into a suitable database format then added to WormBase on a regular basis (a new release of WormBase occurs usually every three weeks).
